The Certificate III in Painting and Decorating provides a trade outcome in painting and decorating for residential and commercial construction work
Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.

Pathway options
After completing this qualification, you may progress through the following pathway:
Exit point & award
Students that successfully complete all 29 units of competency as stated in the Course Structure will be issued with CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
Students that complete some but not all of the units of competency as stated in the Course Structure may be issued with a Statement of Attainment. It will identify only those units of competence that have been completed as part of the qualification and recognised nationally under the AQF.

Entry requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years at the time of enrolment
- English language proficiency: IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in each module) or equivalent test accepted by the Department of Home Affairs. View accepted tests →
