Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

The unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry is the SafeWork NSW approved General Construction Induction (White Card) course for anyone seeking work or preparing to work on an Australian construction site. The course is suitable for apprentices, tradies, labourers, owner-builders, site visitors and backpackers who need site access. Delivered face-to-face in a single day, the training covers WHS roles and responsibilities, risk management, common construction hazards and control measures, key industry documents and safe work practices. PPE is provided and no prior experience is required. On successful completion, students receive a Statement of Attainment the same day so they can start work immediately, with the physical White Card mailed by SafeWork NSW shortly after.
